Digicel Long distance provides three easy plans for your convenience. Choose the one that works best for you.

Digicel North America Unlimited - $19.95 per month

Call the USA and Canada whenever you want for a low monthly rate*. With the Digicel North America Unlimited plan, you pay only $19.95 per month.

Rates for other destinations start at 50¢ per minute. Ask a sales representative for the rates to your favorite calling destinations.

*This plan is subject to a fair usage policy, which allows 3,000 minutes of included USA and Canada long distance calls per month. Calls beyond the 3,000 minutes will be charged at a rate of $0.15 per minute. Calls to Alaska and Hawaii are not included and will be charged at a rate of $0.15 per minute.

Digicel Unlimited - $35 per month

Call the USA, Canada, UK*, and Ireland* whenever you want for as long as you wish. With the Digicel Unlimited plan, you pay only $35 per month.

Rates for other destinations start at 50¢ per minute. Ask a sales representative for the rates to your favorite calling destinations.

*UK and Ireland landlines only. UK and Ireland mobile phones charged at $0.25 per minute. Calls to Alaska and Hawaii are not included and will be charged at a rate of $0.15 per minute.

Digicel Caribbean - starting at 15¢ per minute

Talk to friends and family across the Caribbean for only 15¢ per minute to landlines and 25¢ per minute to mobile phones.

Rates for other destinations start at 15¢ per minute. Ask a sales representative for the rates to your favorite calling destinations.

Digicel Ultimate - starting at 15¢ per minute

Call friends and family anywhere in the world for less. Digicel Ultimate gives you the ultimate flexibility with the best value.

Digicel Portugal – starting at 8¢ per minute

Save with the lowest rates to Portugal and the Azores! Calls to landlines are 8¢ and the rate is only 20¢ to mobile phones.

Digicel Philippines – starting at 20¢ per minute

Call the Philippines for less, with a 20¢ rate to landlines and a 25¢ rate to mobile phones.

Frequently Asked Questions

I am currently a Digicel postpaid mobile customer. Will I be switched to Digicel Long Distance automatically?

You will not be switched to Digicel Long Distance automatically. You have the option to use Digicel Long Distance, which is completely your choice!

How do I sign up for Digicel Long Distance?

Email info.bermuda@digicelgroup.com to sign up for Digicel Long Distance. Please include your name and phone number. You will receive a confirmation email once you have been activated.

Will Digicel call my old long distance provider to cancel my old long distance service?

You must call your old long distance service provider directly to terminate your service. Digicel will not be able to do this for you and will not be responsible for any bills from your old provider.

Will my Digicel Long Distance charges be included on my regular Digicel cell phone bill?

You will receive two separate bills. Please sign up for electronic billing to help our environment!

How much does Digicel Long Distance cost?

We have several plans, each tailored to suit specific destinations and different calling patterns. Some factors to consider when choosing a plan are: the destinations you call the most frequently, the amount of time you spend on long distance phone calls, and how much you are prepared to pay each month. Please ask a sales representative for the rates to your favorite calling destinations.

I have selected the unlimited calling plan to the USA, Canada, and UK. Will I be able to call any other destinations?

You will be able to call other destinations at their regular long distance rates. Please ask a sales representative for the rates to your favorite calling destinations. These charges will be incurred in addition to the cost of your unlimited USA/Canada/UK plan.

I have a question about some of the Digicel Long Distance charges on my bill. What should I do?

For bill queries or any other questions, please call our 24 hour Customer Care by dialing 611 from your Digicel phone or by emailing info.bermuda@digicelgroup.com.

If I am in Bermuda and I make a long distance call, are my local voice minutes used?

Yes, your local minutes are deducted from your local monthly voice plan and will show up on your GSM account. You are charged on your long distance account for the long distance calls you make.

If I have no long distance provider on my GSM account, will I be able to make a long distance call from Bermuda?

No, without a long distance provider to carry the call, you will not be able to call outside of Bermuda.

If I have no long distance provider on my GSM account, will I be able to make a long distance call while off island?

You will able to make calls, but incoming calls will not work.

If I have Digicel Long Distance and I am off island, do I get a Digicel Long Distance charge in addition to a roaming charge on my GSM account?

Outgoing domestic calls (outgoing calls within network on which you are roaming) will incur GSM roaming charges, but will not not be charged by Digicel Long Distance.

Incoming domestic calls (incoming calls within network on which you are roaming) will incur GSM roaming charges in addition to charges from Digicel Long Distance.

Outgoing international calls (outgoing calls outside of the network on which you are roaming) will incur GSM roaming charges, but will not be charged by Digicel Long Distance.

Incoming international calls (incoming calls outside of the network on which you are roaming) will incur GSM roaming charges in addition to charges from Digicel Long Distance.

If I do not pay my Digicel Long Distance bill, will my cell number be deactivated?

If you do not pay your Digicel Long Distance bill, your long distance account will be deactivated for non-payment but your GSM account will remain active if it is current.

If I do not pay my Digicel GSM bill, will my Digicel Long Distance account be deactivated?

If you pay your Digicel Long Distance bill and not your GSM bill, your long distance will not work as your account for GSM has to be active for you to make a long distance call.

NOTE:
If you have ITD (International Toll Deny) in your rate plan, you will be unable to make long distance calls.
