FREE INCOMING CALLS
May 28th 2009 - Free Incoming CallsDigicel Launches “Free Incoming Calls” Promotion
With the majority of Bermuda’s residents having already selected Digicel as their preferred cellular service provider, the offer is expected to prove popular. Says Wayne Caines, CEO of Digicel Bermuda:
“We have listened to what our customers have had to say. Their needs are essentially quite simple: they want the best value for their money and reliable service. We responded with this promotion that allows our customers to receive free incoming on-net calls. We expect many people to take advantage of this offer that allows you to save money and hence be able to talk more. Not paying for on-net calls means that customers will have more funds and minutes to make outgoing calls to their friends or business contacts. We have many loyal customers that have been with us for years and we wanted to give something back that they can truly benefit from. We are thrilled to be able to make this much needed and wanted promotion available.”
The Free Incoming Calls promotion applies only to Digicel Bermuda customers that are geographically located in Bermuda. The promotion is not valid when you are travelling as roaming fees from other service providers that are beyond the control of Digicel will still apply. However, as a Digicel Bermuda customer, if you are located in Bermuda and receive a call from another Digicel Bermuda customer that is overseas, you will not be charged.
If you are wondering how to recognize if someone is a Digicel customer when they call you, you need only to look at their local phone number. If it begins with the number five, you will know it is a Digicel Bermuda phone number.
