DIGICEL LAUNCHES LONG DISTANCE TO ITS CUSTOMERS

Plans to offer service to all wireless and fixed line customers in near future

Thursday, October 13, 2011 – Hamilton, Bermuda.  Digicel announced today that it will now offer long distance service to its postpaid mobile customers. Launching with several exciting long distance plans, Digicel Long Distance will allow Digicel postpaid customers to keep track of all their mobile calls, both local and international, on the same bill.

Among the three plans, the $35 Digicel Unlimited plan with unlimited calls to the USA, Canada, UK and Ireland provides an affordable option for callers who need to call the most popular international destinations.  Top Caribbean destinations, such as Jamaica, Barbados and Trinidad, will be available at very competitive rates via the Digicel Caribbean plan.

Perhaps the most exciting part of the Digicel Long Distance service, however, is the Digicel Ultimate plan, which provides all around great rates to the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and the rest of the world without a monthly subscription fee.
