A LOTT of Sista Love and IMPACT Mentoring Academy receive Digicel school kits

Tuesday, September 6, 2011 – Hamilton, Bermuda. Digicel has donated its popular back to school kits to two worthy organizations, just in time for the back to school season. A LOTT of Sista Love received kits as part of its “Back to School Drive,” which aims to provide school kits to children in need. The IMPACT Mentoring Academy also received school kits for all of its students, in continued support after Digicel provided a truck to the academy earlier this year.

“Education is of the utmost importance,” stated Digicel Bermuda CEO, Wayne Caines. “We welcomed the opportunity to help students be properly equipped to make the most of their lessons. The ‘Back to School Drive’ is a great initiative from the Bermuda chapter of A LOTT of Sista Love and Digicel is proud to contribute to this cause. We are also pleased to provide kits to the students of IMPACT Mentoring Academy.”

Barbara Thomas, the A LOTT of Sista Love Bermuda Chapter Coordinator, stated, “Digicel has helped us fulfill our goal of providing assistance to every child who applied for it. We are truly appreciative of Digicel and its generosity.”
